I am a highly driven and committed athlete. I work hard all year long and know that athletes are built in the off season. I also consider myself to be a team player and always do what's in the best interest of my team. This year I started at short stop but we were lacking a strong outfield so I was moved to better our team. We ended up making an appearance in the Jasper Semi-State and went 24-2 overall. I take my role as an athlete very seriously and feel like I demonstrate my personal best at all times whether it is in the classroom or on the field or within my community.

I strive for excellence in the classroom 100% of the time. I believe academics and athletics go hand in hand because in order to be successful in one you have to achieve in the other. I have received the scholar athlete award from Lebanon High School 4 times and The Presidential Excellence award for excellence in academics both as a Freshman and Sophomore. I was chosen twice by our school's Math Dept. teachers as a "Mathlete". This year I received the Overall Scholar Athlete award for the student athlete who has the highest overall G.P.A. in our softball program and the Sportsmanship Award. I believe my achievements will help my athletic accomplishments down the road.
