About Shaila Gibler
Shaila is a 26-Year-Old Grad. at Colby High School in Colby, Kansas. She currently focuses on one sport, Basketball.
I started playing basketball in 3rd grade with the mini march madness & got the fever, continuing to play in the march madness games. Any chance I got I had a basketball in hand. We had new neighbors who were drafted in to play basketball here. They were very tall & very good at ball handling. Then they got drafted to play in Nebraska but left a huge impression on me. Moving up the scale I took in some basketball camps starting in the 5th grade (Mrs. Mazanec) and continued camps along with the march madness, until I was able to play basketball starting in the 7th grade. I continued going to camps to futher my skills, basketball Academy in colorado & our hometown camps. I love volleyball too & have gone to camps for that. I also love track & seem to be doubly good in the triple jump. But the love of my life is basketball! When I attended the PGC camps, I learned so much well roundedness, & most important learning how to react to disappointments. I continue to be the best I can be at every moment & approach every situation with a purpose. I will continue PGC camps hoping to be a WNBA player. I will do as much of the protocol to better myself. I am also hoping to raise enough money to go to IMG camp & would love it if I could be on a travelling team where I can learn, be exposed to more playing time, and grow. I wish money grew on trees so I could partake in more camps or academies. Oh I'm 5 ft 6 & 113 pounds. I have big brown eyes & long brown hair & I trust in the Lord's guidance. I have a praying mother! My Dad supports me in all I do & I have 2 sisters, (me being the middle) who love me & support me.
