About Kevin Hensley

Kevin is a 31-Year-Old Grad. at Collierville High School in Collierville, Tennessee. He currently focuses on one sport, Soccer.

I developed a passion for soccer at an early age. My youth coach was from Manchester, England where as a teen he was on the Manchester United Youth Reserve. He taught me what a beautiful game soccer is, and I began watching English Premier soccer at 7 years old, quickly becoming a student of the game. I played up for six years to challenge my skills. My field vision exceded my peers and allowed me to be successful with older players. My leadership on the pitch earned me captain's armbands on my club, ODP and High School squads. I have been fortunate to train and play for a host of quality coaches in club and ODP that exposed me to various styles, formations and strategies. My current club coach, RIchard Bute has produced hundreds of collegiate as well as professional soccer players. He has taught me that hard work and determination are essential to progress my game. Physically I possess a strong airgame that not only allows me to defend in the air but pose an offensive threat on corner kicks as well. I have a strong legs allowing me to make short crisp passes as well as 50 yd direct balls with accuracy. It has been a longtime dream to become a student-athlete and further my career into college.
