Joseph plays on the Mid-Atlantic and Schuylkill County Junior golf tours. He finished in third place in the 16-19 age group in the Schuylkill County Junior Championship. As a junior, he had an average of 78 and his handicap was 8. He competed in the PIAA District 11 Qualifier at Woodstone Country Club. Joseph was number two golfer on his team and co-captain, his team came in second in the Schuylkill League.
