About Austin Early
Austin is a 27-Year-Old Grad. at Fluvanna County High School in Palmyra, Virginia. He currently focuses on one sport, Lacrosse.
I have always been dedicated to academics, while following a strong passion for athletics. My first sports interaction was in karate, where I began at the age of 4 and ended at the age of 8. In 2003, I won a Gold and a Bronze Medal at the A.A.U. National Championships . In 2005, I stopped participating in karate to follow football, which had become my favorite sport. By my eighth grade year, I was starting tailback for the JV football team. My freshman year, I was again the starting tailback for JV and was moved to varsity for a game. As a sophmore this year I participated in Cross Country for the first time. I lowered my personal best time in every meet but two. I competed at Districts and earned a spot in Regionals finishing my year with my personal best time. In seventh grade, I joined the first middle school lacrosse team in Fluvanna, which participated as a club team. In my eighth grade year, we moved to the middle school league in Charlottesville, where I lead the league in scoring. My freshman season, we participated in our inaugural season in Jefferson District play as a High School sponsored sport, and I lead the team in scoring. Lacrosse has become my strongest athletic passion. I truly love the game, and value the community. I practice my skills on a daily basis, and am always working to get better. I compete and practice with as many teams and in as many events as I am able. I really want to become a better player.
In my academic career, I am a straight A student. I value education and strive to be the best I can in the classroom. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and am one of the top students in my class. I have been admitted to and participate in the Blue Ridge Virtual Governors School for advanced students. My academic honors include: 8th Grade Student of the Year, English Excellence Award, History Excellence Award, Math Excellence Award, Art Excellence Award, Principle's Honor Roll, and Honor Roll. I also really value good human attributes. I am an active member of my school's Key Club and the St. James Episcopal Church Youth Group, and am active in community service.
