About arissa august

arissa is a 28-Year-Old Grad. at Helix High School in La Mesa, California. She is a multi-sport athlete who participates in Cheerleading and Dance.

I started tap dance at the age of 3 and continued on for a few years. At the age of 8 I started gymnastics and at the age of 14 I started dance at Helix High School and continued for all four years of high school. By my sophomore year, I was placed in the intermediate/advanced dance class that focused on Jazz, Modern, and hip hop. I am interested in cheer at mesa because I have always been a team leader. At Helix, I was elected dance officer and I was in charge of coordinating events. Although this tradition did not continue, I still continued to organize performance for the eager dancers; assembly performances, Pep rally performances, and performances at the San Diego County Fair for two years in a row. Here at Mesa I am a part of the dance company.
