Ex-NFL star Bruce Smith faces DUI charge (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Former NFL star Bruce Smith has been charged with drunken driving in Virginia Beach. City police spokesman Jimmy Barnes said the 45-year-old Smith was stopped at 1:42 a.m. Friday on Interstate 264. He said Smith was charged with speeding, driving under the influence and refusal to take an alcohol breath test.
