Jets re-sign TE Franks to 1-year deal (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Tight end Bubba Frank re-signed with the New York Jets on Tuesday. The 10-year veteran got a one-year contract. Franks will complement starter Dustin Keller, who had a strong 2008 season as a rookie. Neither Franks nor Keller is considered much of a blocker. Last season, Franks caught six passes for 47 yards in eight games, and missed eight with a hip injury.
