Niners extend LB Haralson, K Nedney (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The San Francisco 49ers have extended the contracts of linebacker Parys Haralson and kicker Joe Nedney after strong 2008 seasons by both players. Haralson received a four-year extension through 2013, and Nedney agreed to a two-year extension through 2011. Haralson emerged as the 49ers' top pass-rusher last season, getting eight sacks despite playing only sparingly in the season's early games.
