Colts sign LB Seward, waive RB Dawson (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Indianapolis Colts have signed linebacker Adam Seward, a free agent who played the past four years with Carolina. Seward was a fifth-round draft pick out of UNLV in 2005 and started two of 40 games with the Panthers. He appeared in only nine games last season as he was hobbled by an ankle injury.
