Vikings hire Polian's son as assistant (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress has hired the son of Indianapolis Colts president and general manager Bill Polian to be his assistant. Dennis Polian will be the new assistant to the head coach. He most recently worked in the front office for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.
