Browns re-sign free agent S Adams (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Cleveland Browns signed safety Mike Adams on Friday, giving them insurance in case they lose Sean Jones to free agency. Adams started five games for Cleveland last season and also was a free agent. But with Jones expected to visit the Philadelphia Eagles, the Browns decided to keep Adams around. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
