Fred Lane's widow will be released from prison Tuesday after about six years (espn.com)

The North Carolina woman convicted of fatally shooting her football-player husband is scheduled to be released from prison. Department of Correction spokesman George Dudley said Monday that Deidra Lane is expected to leave at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
