No ruling on pat downs of 49ers' fans (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The California Supreme Court has decided not to rule on whether the San Francisco 49ers can pat down fans before they enter the team's home stadium. Instead the justices are sending the issue back to the lower court. The state's high court ruled Monday that it doesn't have enough information to decide whether the pat-down policy is an illegal invasion of privacy.
