Vikings acquire QB Rosenfels from Texans (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Minnesota Vikings have acquired quarterback Sage Rosenfels from the Houston Texans and signed him to a two-year, $9 million contract. Rosenfels' agent, Rick Smith, says his client "is extremely excited for this opportunity." The 31-year-old Rosenfels will compete with incumbent Tarvaris Jackson for the starting job.
