Economy may have affect on free agency (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The NFL is cutting jobs, franchises are trimming budgets and some team officials are concerned the league may lose significant revenue sources. And now the effects of a sluggish economy could trickle down to the players. Nobody believes the money will dry up for this year's big-name free agents, such as Albert Haynesworth or Ray Lewis, who are likely to sign shortly after the market opens Friday.
