Pats name O'Brien special teams coach (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The New England Patriots have hired Scott O'Brien as the new special teams coordinator. The team announced Tuesday that he will join the club after spending the last two seasons as the Denver Broncos' special teams coordinator. The team also announced that Bill O'Brien, who served as New England's wide receivers coach last season, was tapped as the new quarterbacks coach.
