Niners name Raye offensive coordinator (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Jimmy Raye has agreed to terms with the San Francisco 49ers to become the club's seventh offensive coordinator in seven seasons. The 62-year-old Raye has been an offensive coordinator for six previous franchises, including the Oakland Raiders in 2004-05. He spent the last three seasons as the New York Jets' running backs coach.
