Jazz coach Sloan has right knee replaced (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan has had right knee replacement surgery. The Jazz said Thursday the surgery went well and the 67-year-old coach was recovering. Utah's 21st season under Sloan ended Monday night with a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, who won the first-round series 4-1. Sloan signed a one-year extension in January that will keep him with the Jazz through the end of next season.
