Former NBA player and University of Florida standout Vernon Maxwell has been jailed in north Florida. Alachua County authorities jailed Maxwell on Wednesday for violation of probation charges related to failing to pay child support, according to online jail records. A message left with a sheriff's office spokesman was not immediately returned.
