Bulls' Rose out with bruised right wrist (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Rookie of the Year candidate Derrick Rose sat out the Chicago Bulls' game against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night because of a bruised right wrist. Rose missed his first game after being injured on a dunk attempt in the first half of Monday's 101-99 victory at Washington. He played 39 minutes Monday, but the Bulls decided to hold him out after the wrist swelled overnight.
