10-year NBA veteran Komives dies at 67 (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

A former Bowling Green basketball star who went on to play 10 seasons in the NBA has died. Howard "Butch" Komives (KOH'-myvz) died Sunday in Toledo after battling health problems for the last decade. He was 67. His family says Komives was found unconscious Thursday at his home and never regained consciousness.
