Pistons owner Davidson dies at 86 (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Detroit Pistons owner Bill Davidson, who was inducted into the basketball Hall of Fame last year, has died. He was 86. The Ira Kaufman Chapel Funeral Home says services are scheduled for Tuesday at Congregation Shaarey Zedek in Southfield. Davidson became majority owner of the Pistons in 1974. He also owned Palace Sports & Entertainment and WNBA's Detroit Shock.
