Peja Stojakovic sat out New Orleans' game against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night because of back spasms that flared up during the Hornets' previous contest at Philadelphia on Monday night. Stojakovic missed most of the 2006-07 season because of back surgery, but has sat out only a few games since.
