Spurs sign veteran F Gooden (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Drew Gooden is the new big man who the San Antonio Spurs hope will fortify their latest playoff run. Gooden joined the Spurs after buying out his contract earlier this week in Sacramento, to where the Chicago Bulls traded the veteran power forward last month. Gooden arrived Thursday evening at the Spurs' practice facility, where he was expected to later meet with reporters.
