David West was big again for New Orleans, scoring 30 points with 10 rebounds to lead the Hornets to their fifth straight win, 98-91 over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. West was chosen the Western Conference player of the week only hours earlier on the strength of his 28.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in four Hornets' victories.
