Suns star F Stoudemire out about 8 weeks (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Phoenix Suns say star forward Amare Stoudemire will be out about eight weeks after eye surgery. The surgery to repair a partially detached retina in Stoudemire's right eye was performed Friday morning. Suns general manager Steve Kerr says the long-term prognosis is excellent and he should have 100 percent recovery of his vision.
