Antawn Jamison scored 28 points and Washington used a big late run to beat the New York Knicks 96-89 on Friday night, ending the Wizards' six-game slide. The Knicks led by 87-81 with 4:33 to play before Jamison hit a layup, Mike James hit a 3-pointer and Nick Young a jumper to spur a 15-0 run and give the Wizards their first lead since early in the third quarter.
