Bobcats get Diop from Mavs for 2 players (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Charlotte Bobcats have added depth to their frontcourt by acquiring 7-footer DeSagana Diop from the Dallas Mavericks for guard Matt Carroll and center Ryan Hollins. Friday's trade gives Bobcats coach Larry Brown a rugged defensive specialist with limited offensive skills. The 26-year-old Diop is averaging just 1.6 points and 3.5 rebounds a game.
