Cabrera, Polanco homer as Tigers win (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Miguel Cabrera and Placido Polanco homered and Alfredo Figaro won his major-league debut as the Detroit Tigers beat the Milwaukee Brewers 9-5 on Saturday. Figaro, who was called up from Double-A to replace Dontrelle Willis in the rotation, allowed two runs and eight hits in five innings. Dave Bush (3-4) took the loss, falling to 0-4 in his last six starts.
