Royals send scuffling Davies to minors (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Kansas City Royals have sent struggling right-hander Kyle Davies to Triple-A Omaha and activated reliever Robinson Tejeda off the 15-day disabled list. The Royals announced the moves on Saturday before their game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Davis (3-7, 5.67 ERA) finished strong in 2008 and had a solid start to this season, but has struggled recently with one win in nine starts.
