Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter is out of the starting lineup one day after he left a win over the Nationals because of a sore left ankle. Ramiro Pena got the start for Wednesday night's game against Washington. Jeter left Tuesday's 5-3 victory after seven innings. He went 0 for 3 with a walk and is batting .306 with nine homers and 30 RBIs in 61 games this season.
