Pirates have rare multihomer game in win (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)
Getting one home run from the Pittsburgh Pirates is a rarity this season, so imagine the surprise when they hit two Saturday night. The Pirates, with the second fewest homers in the majors, used Freddy Sanchez's grand slam and Adam LaRoche's solo shot to defeat the Detroit Tigers 9-3. Only the San Francisco Giants have hit fewer than the Pirates' 36 home runs this season.
