Rookie Anthony Swarzak scattered four hits over seven innings, Jason Kubel homered and the Minnesota Twins hung on to beat Chicago 2-0 Saturday after the Cubs threatened in the ninth. What looked like a relatively easy win for the Twins took a tense turn when closer Joe Nathan walked Milton Bradley leading off.
