Twins sit Cuddyer due to finger injury (sportsline.com)

The Minnesota Twins held outfielder Michael Cuddyer out of the lineup Saturday against the Chicago Cubs because of an inflamed right index finger. Manager Ron Gardenhire said Cuddyer would be examined by a doctor Saturday and see a hand specialist on Monday.
