Jacoby Ellsbury hit a tiebreaking RBI single in the 13th inning and the Boston Red Sox beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-2 Friday night in an interleague matchup between division leaders. Ryan Howard's solo homer off fill-in closer Ramon Ramirez with one in the ninth tied it, but the Phillies couldn't pull out their third straight comeback win in extra innings.
