The Atlanta Braves' new cleanup hitter didn't have much time to battle nerves before his major league debut. The Braves made a late decision to call up first baseman Barbaro Canizares on Thursday. The phone call to Canizares at Triple-A Gwinnett came about three hours before he was to hit cleanup against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
