Jays sign Dellucci to minor league deal (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Free-agent outfielder David Dellucci has signed a minor league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays. Dellucci will report to Triple-A Las Vegas. Manager Cito Gaston said the Blue Jays are looking for another left-handed batter to go along with Adam Lind and Lyle Overbay. Toronto began the season with rookie Travis Snider in that role, but sent him to Las Vegas when his batting average fell to .242.
