Jon Lester retired the first 19 batters he faced and finished with a two-hitter, David Oritz homered and the Boston Red Sox beat the Texas Rangers 8-1 on Saturday night. Michael Young doubled into the gap in left-center with one out in the seventh inning to break up Lester's bid for a perfect game.
