A's put OF Buck on DL with oblique (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Oakland Athletics placed outfielder Travis Buck on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique muscle prior to Saturday night's game against the Texas Rangers. Buck homered and went 3-for-4 in the first game of Friday's doubleheader against Texas, but the injury to his side got progressively worse as the game wore on.
