Oblique forces Arizona 1B Tracy to DL (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Arizona Diamondbacks have placed first baseman Chad Tracy on the 15-day disabled list with an oblique strain and recalled Josh Whitesell from Triple-A Reno to take his roster spot. Manager A.J. Hinch said on Saturday before Arizona's game with Atlanta that Tracy was injured when he singled in his final at-bat in Friday night's 10-6 loss to the Braves.
