Arizona places Tracy on DL, recalls Whitesall (sportsline.com)

The Arizona Diamondbacks have placed first baseman Chad Tracy on the 15-day disabled list with an oblique strain and recalled Josh Whitesell from Triple-A Reno to take his roster spot.
