Reds' Volquez likely to miss next start (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Right-hander Edinson Volquez is likely to miss a start for the Cincinnati Reds because of a bad back. Volquez had to leave a game Saturday in San Diego because of back spasms. He was bothered by it when he tried to throw in the bullpen on Wednesday, and recommended to manager Dusty Baker that he skip his next scheduled start to give it more rest.
