Dodgers scratch LHP Stults from start (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Dodgers left-hander Eric Stults has been scratched from his scheduled start Wednesday night against the New York Mets because of a sore thumb on his pitching hand. Jeff Weaver will start for Los Angeles instead in the finale of a three-game series. Stults jammed his thumb on a hard landing after fielding a bunt and making an off-balance flip to first base Friday at Florida.
