Reds place RHP Masset on 15-day DL (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

The Cincinnati Reds put right-handed reliever Nick Masset on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with strained muscles in his left side. Right-hander Ramon Ramirez was called up from Triple-A Louisville to take Masset's spot as the long reliever. Ramirez was 0-3 with a 5.08 earned run average in seven games at Louisville.
