Reds RHP Volquez leaves with injury (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Cincinnati Reds pitcher Edinson Volquez left Saturday night's game against the San Diego Padres with mild back spasms with two outs in the sixth inning. Volquez delivered a pitch to Nick Hundley, then went behind the mound and appeared to be trying to stretch his back as he bent forward at the waist with both arms extended.
