Angels RHP Lackey makes season debut (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Angels right-hander John Lackey was activated from the disabled list Saturday to make his season debut. Lackey had been sidelined because of a forearm strain, but was set to start the second game of a three-game series against the AL West-leading Texas Rangers. The right-hander missed the first 41 games last season with a strained triceps.
