Mets OF Pagan begins rehab stint (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

New York Mets outfielder Angel Pagan has joined Triple-A Buffalo on a rehabilitation assignment. Pagan had surgery to remove a bone spur in his right elbow on March 11. Vying for a bench role in the outfield, the 27-year-old played five games with the Mets in spring training before being placed on the disabled list on April 5, retroactive to March 27.
