Rangers CF Hamilton activated from DL (AP) (sports.yahoo.com)

Texas Rangers center fielder Josh Hamilton has been activated from the disabled list. Hamilton was back Tuesday night for the opener of a six-game homestand against AL West foes Seattle and the Los Angeles Angels. Infielder Joaquin Arias was sent back to Triple-A Oklahoma. Hamilton had been on the 15-day disabled list because of strained left ribcage muscle.
