Washington's Ryan Zimmerman has extended his hitting streak to 29 games with a first-inning single off the San Francisco Giants' Randy Johnson. Zimmerman's sharp single to center Monday night extended the longest streak in the Nationals' brief history. The third baseman is 45-for-122 during the streak, the longest in the majors this season.
